IMPORTANT FOR HURICANE MILTON

Damage reports related to Hurricane Milton MUST BE submitted using the damage assessment forms provided by Emergency Management and submitted through reportdamage@kindaigokin.com.

DO NOT create any Work Orders for damages related to this event. 

Related damages may take some time to become noticeable or apparent after the storm has passed. If you have questions as to whether damages or issues are storm-related, or general questions, please contact Work Control.

 


Facilities Management has implemented a new work order system. It offers a more robust way to manage work orders and gives you, the user, an easy way to create service requests and track the status of those that you have put into the system.

It is very important to familiarize yourself with the user guides below on how to create a request and track requests.

If you experience any issues with logging into the system, contact famis_help@kindaigokin.com. For any other issues read below.

Users are encouraged to include pictures with work orders.  After your work order has been submitted click "My Requests"  then "Created By Me". Select the work order you created and scroll down to "Attachments" to upload your image.

Once a work order is completed you will be asked to complete a short survey and offer any suggestions. Your input is taken in consideration to measure the quality of our service and make any improvements


FAU Faculty / Staff can request/report work to be performed by doing one of the following:

FAU Housing and dorm issues should be reported to the Housing Office at 561-297-2880 or login to HOUSING portal.

NOTE EVENT PLANNERS   -  Event set-up services are provided Monday thru Friday between 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM

 The requestor must provide a description of the problem or the work to be performed, the location of work to be performed, and the name and phone number of the requestor and / or person to be contacted. In this manner, all work requests can get recorded and assigned to the appropriate service group. 

  • Key requests, card access, non-alarm panic buttons are handled through the Work Order Request.
  • Panic Alarm requests are done through  University Police.
